Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Counselling in Hampshire

Feel at ease, get more out of life and move to a brighter future

A place to feel safe and be heard

Why You Might Be Here

Perhaps you’re navigating a recent life change or maybe you’ve been carrying a sense of unease for some time. You might feel confused or find it difficult to understand your emotions. Maybe you’re struggling to put your feelings into words. It could be that a relationship in your life feels challenging or you’re questioning who you are, your purpose or your connection with yourself.

Taking the first step can seem daunting, especially when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know that you’re not alone.

How I Can Help

Wherever you are right now, I am here to help. I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship where you can speak openly and feel truly understood. In this space, free from fear of judgement, deeper insight and self-understanding can emerge.

Working together and at your own pace, therapy can help you get to know yourself better: how you make sense of the world, how different situations affect you and how you make choices in your life.

Together, we can work towards greater understanding, healing and personal growth, helping you feel more at ease and move towards a more fulfilling future.

Hello, I'm Suzy

I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist with professional psychotherapeutic and counselling training. I am based in Winchfield, North Hampshire, (near the Surrey border) and  work both in-person and online. I adhere to the standards, practices and ethical framework of the National Society of Talking Therapies (NSTT). In doing so, I provide a supportive space which is both safe and respectful, so that you are able to explore whatever has brought you to therapy.

My Approach  –  Therapy Tailored to you
At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing happens through relationships with others, with the world around us and most importantly with ourselves. The relationship we build together in therapy is central to the work we’ll do because it is through feeling safe, being seen and heard, that change becomes possible.
My approach is ‘pluralistic’, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic methods and adapt them to fit your individual needs. Yet it is also ‘outcome-oriented’, always working with your goals mind. Whether you’re looking to gain insight, make peace with the past, shift unhelpful thought patterns or find direction for the future, I will support you in moving towards your goals.

Why people work with me

You may not know exactly what’s wrong, just that something isn’t quite right. Or perhaps you’re facing a specific challenge like anxiety, relationship issues, loss or a life transition. Whatever has led you here, I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to take this first step. While there may be no instant answers, I can promise that you won’t face your struggles alone. I’ll walk alongside you at your pace, helping you make sense of what you’re going through and gently support you as you find your way forward.

You may be ready to make big changes or just want someone to listen without judgment. You might feel stuck or uncertain, but open to exploring what’s possible. Whatever your situation, you’ll be met with warmth, compassion and professionalism in our work together.

Services

Therapeutic hypnosis is an enjoyable and natural state of focused relaxation. You will have experienced it in the past without realising it (e.g. whilst daydreaming). You remain fully aware and in control. From this space, we can work together to explore emotions, gain insight, shift unhelpful habits, reduce stress or heal deeper wounds to create meaningful change.

I am trained in a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches as well as counselling. We can work together in finding what works best for you to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I will provide a safe, confidential space to better understand yourself, resolve emotional difficulties and develop healthier ways of coping.
