Hypnotherapy
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind which means that virtually every person has the natural capacity for response to hypnosis. Hypnosis is a state of physical, mental and emotional relaxation, along with a heightened state of awareness and focused attention. It is important to note that you remain fully aware and in control. It’s not about losing consciousness or being asleep. Think of it like being so absorbed in a good book or movie that the outside world fades away for a while. In this state, your mind becomes more open to positive suggestions and new ways of thinking, helping you to focus and access your inner resources for healing and change.
I combine the wonderful focused state found in hypnotherapy with my psychotherapy training to help you:
• Manage stress, anxiety and emotional challenges
• Overcome fears and phobias
• Break unhelpful habits or patterns
• Boost confidence and motivation
• Work through past experiences or traumas
• Enhance overall wellbeing
During our sessions I will guide you gently into a relaxed state and work with you collaboratively to address your unique needs and goals. Hypnosis is a deeply personal experience and I will always ensure you feel safe, supported and in control throughout.
If you have questions or concerns about hypnosis, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am here to help you feel comfortable and informed.
I offer hypnotherapy as one of several therapeutic options but it’s never required. We’ll always work in a way that aligns with your comfort and goals.
